Heihe River integrated cooperation environment is to integrate comprehensive and multidisciplinary research, providing a critical research platform for integrating interdisciplinary researches. Meanwhile, the information technology infrastructure, including the observation network and web-based virtual river research integrated platform, will greatly improve data sharing, river basin simulation and the level of river management. It serves the river science and river sustainable development better, and supports for river management responding to river basin management objectives. In addition, Heihe River integrated cooperation environment is not only supporting integrated river study, but also exploring the laboratories, field stations, demonstration area network research new ways of organization. The project will greatly promote the integration of inland river basin study, to innovate research means, change concept, reconstruct structure and form new type of network structure organization.This paper describes the importance and role of integrated cooperation environment to achieve e-Science environment, and significance of research the cooperative work environment. Besides, this paper discusses the related major research progress in domestic and abroad, the design ideas and implementation process of the environment.The integrated cooperation environment designed in this paper is named as "Heihe River Basin ecology-hydrology Integrated e-Science research environment", including the following aspects:showing css and flash animation in front page, creating notification bulletin, establishing project management and building online model research and apply workflow such as document database managemen, database, deployed SSiB, wavelet analysis, Markov analysis and land surface data assimilation model online applications. It also discusses data management of wireless transmission systems, document retrieval, integrating video conferencing, project forums and so onto form information technology infrastructure of Heihe river basin comprehensive research.it responds to river management objectives, supporting to improve sharing level of Heihe river basin data, and improve the level of model simulation and river basin management. This paper is based on the integrated multi-disciplinary research collaborative work environment, making Web-based model as the core and, to carry out the design and implementation of the Heihe River basin cooperation environment.
