“Yangtze River basin climate prediction operate platform” design ideas areexpressed in this article for the Yangtze River basin climate prediction service platformsystem; prediction software tools of construction, the analysis and research anddevelopment trend in software engineering are mentioned. System analysis, which isaccording to the actual needs in accordance with the software engineering processsystem analysis are done and a structured data table storage, which is according tofeatures and basic rules of the weather forecast software, is established. The databasetechnology provides a powerful data support for the short-term climate predictionplatform.The system not only meets the climatology of the laws of science, and also issuitable for hardware technology, software environment and network environment. Itsolves special problems in organic integration of general software technology andclimate forecast characteristics, can provide the reference for other developing similarsystems.This article for the basin of the Yangtze River flood control and drought relief andreservoir needs, making clear short-time climate prediction service object and content ofriver basin, focusing on the causes of climate for the Yangtze River Basin research, isto improve and perfect the physical statistical method of quantitative prediction model,strengthen the technology application of dynamic model and its products in basin,complete the development climate prediction service platform of the Yangtze Riverbasin. Through the climate trend forecasting service platform construction, imperfectcase of this stage in short-term climate prediction can be improved and references forother watershed short-term climate prediction construction can be provided bystandardization of system construction of Yangtze River basin short-term climateforecasting processes. The “Yangtze River basin climate prediction operate platform”can enhance basin short-range climate prediction ability to serve more targeted andmore effective for disaster prevention and mitigation, flood control and drought relief ofmajor decisions in the Yangtze basin, river basin water resources development andutilization and other watershed services.
