For many companies, with the continuous development of economic market, it is a serious problem how to reduce operating costs, enhance the core competitiveness and get more market share in the fierce competition by scientific, standardized and efficient management methods. AS the modern enterprise management software, the Inventory Management System based on Enterprise Resource Planning can solve these problems. The paper based on business-driven platform and object-oriented analysis and design method, uses C#as development language, OOQL as query language, XML as markup language, SQL Server as database system to analyze, design, realize and implement the Inventory Management System in detail.Firstly, this paper introduces the subject background, present situation and the development of the subject at home and abroad and the main tasks. Secondly, considering most of the enterprise lack of overcalling arrangement and coordination that can lead to the rising cost of the management, the paper has analyzed in the relationship between inventory and ERP system and depth researches in inventory management strategy by scientific view. The content is consisted of the optimization of ABC Classification with Analytic Hierarchy Process. Thirdly, the paper analyzes the inventory system requirements by object-oriented analysis and design method. The content is consisted of the application requirements, the selection of multi-organization structure that can meet the cooperative enterprise and the rich and scalable inventory management business including Item_management, Transfer_doc, Transaction_doc, Borrow_Return_doc, Reservation_Release_doc, Counting_doc and so on. The paper also divides granularity from the modules which depended on the different business and designs all data flow charts in detail. Then, on the base of the requirements analysis and design, we analyze the key technologies of inventory system and choose the business-driven platform, OOQL, XML, C#and Sq1Server2008that has specific conception and logic framework design as the system development tools. Finally, introduces the realization in Microsoft.NET and business-driven platform and has finished the evaluation of implementation by Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method.Implementation shows that the inventory management system is reliable and stable in operation, convenient and efficient in information processing and quickly in the second development that can achieve the desired goals and have some practical value.
