Business intelligence system is a complex structure e-government system, its business scope, involving intelligence information management, major incident management, information management, mobility and information management, data processing capacity difficult to maintain, inefficient data processing is currently the difficulties faced by the intelligence business systems. Over the years, the efficiency of data processing has been a bottleneck in the development of e-government system, and the reasons relevant departments is not efficient to work. Cause the intelligence business systems in the protection of national security and stability to people’s lives and property area has a very large role, looking for the ways to improve the efficiency of data processing is imperative, of great significance.Index-based data query is an effective mean for intelligence system to improve the level of data processing. Index is an optional data structures built on the table. By providing a direct access, replaced the default full table scan retrieval method, to determine the data only, at the same time, improve data retrieval performance. Indexes implement reflect in the SQL statement are the most effective statement. When it interacts with the database management system, the system provides a strategy access path, reducing users choose access path to deal with the data burden.The paper analyzes the important role of the intelligence business systems, the practical requirements of improving data processing efficiency in the intelligence business systems, indexing techniques applied to the data processing of the intelligence business systems. Through in-depth study of the organizational structure of the index, especially structure of the B+tree and full-text index in the intelligence business systems, explored the SQL statement of the index-based optimization techniques, so that the SQL statement in the interaction with the database, according to the actual situation, choose a different indexing techniques to achieve the purpose of improving the efficiency of data processing. For a detailed description of the application of the index does increase system performance, the paper also analyze specific system functional modules based on J2EE architecture, design a SOA system framework, and combined with the related modules, the index algorithms and configure, used index techniques in the data services. Finally, with the application of index in the functional modules of the system, experimental data shows that the index has a great help in the performance of the system, and proves the importance of rational application of the index in the system.
