Optimization Of 2G/3G Mutual Operation On The Early Days Of TD-SCDMA In Xinyang

Nearer in the last years, with the rapid development of mobile communication technologies,a great number of large and small mobile communication networks have mushroomed all over the world.This kind of great environment urges China welcome a 3G age. we have to face an unprecedented challenge of operations,maintenance and optimization engineering of our mobile communication networks for the followed reasons.Firstly,the amount of customers owned by three greatest telecomunication operators zoomed.Secondly,the scale of network continuously extend.Lastly,the customer’s average service quality request to the network is more and more high.China Mobile previous aim at GSM900 and GSM1800 for their mobile network optimization.Although those are two different networks,basic parameters and technique standard are similar.China Mobile have their own theory and technique to the construction,maintenance, optimization of 2G network by more than ten years.But there is a 3G network in front of all optimization engineers of China Mobile.To find a way to balance the relationship of 2G and 3G becomes most important.Combine with the present condition of China Mobile’s GSM/TD-SCDMA in Xinyang at first,this paper mainly presents some contentses and achievements of research of optimization of 2G/3G mutual operation.The thesis elaborated the practical or immediate significance and strategy of optimization of 2G/3G mutual operation,including recent network construction, neighbour cell planning and the parameters configuration.The author aims at three types the in operation familiar proble:call drop, handover failure, bad coverage.Because the circuit domain operation is the most important task on the early days of TD-SCDMA,the author combine nonnal examples introduces the treatment to these problems.After that the author provide some information into the way to deal with RAB establishment failure in brief.Moreover, the thesis finally discussed the future thought of the construction of TD-SCDMA in China Mobile Xinyang branch.At last the thesis point out the direction of 2G/ 3G mutual operation in future.
