In recent years, with a large-scale construction of TD-SCDMA network and put TD-SCDMA network into operation in CMCC, the network quality has become a key factor in the competing to occupied mobile communications market with other two network operators. The deterioration of network quality has led to the emergence of these problem that user call drop rate is high, and poor user perceptions. These problem has become the major source of complaint from users about 3G network in CMCC, while there exist a lot of key problems about network optimization these problem is as followed:The way of LAC division when GSM and TD-SCDMA dual-network co-existence; The high rate of dropped calls caused by the same frequency interference;. These problems have become very important issue which is troubled by CMCC. It has become the biggest problem faced by China Mobile how to improve network performance and to effectively address these problems by the combination of a variety of optimization techniques and tools. This paper has introduced the two key issues found in the TD-SCDMA network optimization of CMCC and the corresponding analysis and solution about these problem. Firstly, it will be introduced that the the principle and the corresponding approach of LAC division when GSM and TD-SCDMA dual-network co-exist, we will analyze the principle about division of the LAC district and get the way of division when GSM and TD-SCDMA dual-network co-exist; Secondly, it will be introduced in this paper that the high rate of dropped calls caused by same frequency interference in the TD-SCDMA networks, we will analyze the its phenomenon and its reasons of this problem, and introduced corresponding solutions and exclusion processes.
