In the field of avionics, modular technology becomes more and more mature, the sensors and weapons technology are more and more intelligentful. During the information domain superiority transfers to the cognitive domain, one platform that broken weapon platforms and broken the sensors in that platform can connect the physical connections for the data distribution of system seamless will become a hot research direction. In the typical distributed system, the middleware technology can reduces project diffcult and cosly of development, what’s more, it can provide the QoS to control system. Therefore, in the distributed avionics system, the middleware technology has becoming a good solution.The traditional information systems, for example CNI systems (including the higher modular ICNI system) or data link system are distributed system. But these systems are designed and developed without using middleware technology. They are designed by process-centric, while in the cognitive domain, data-oriented distributed system is necessary.Compare with traditional development methods, the middleware of DDS provide a publish/subscribe architecture, provides better support for real-time requirements. DDS is data-centric publish/subscribe communication model, optimizes for hard real-time systems, and provides low latency, high throughput and the level of control for real-time performance, enabling DDS to be used in aerospace, defense, simulation, robotics, industrial automation, distribution control and consumption of network appliances and other field widely.Thesis will from build actual of heterogeneous platform, construction the distributed application of data-centric in test environment, and using the OoS of DDS provided to prove the DDS middleware could provided the required performance, and the control for resource, meanwhile, analyzing the data and make a cmparsion with existing projects, proved DDS can be used in the future project with analysis report. The distributed system’s software and hardware are designed on Powerpc+VxWorks platform, using the object-oriented technology and design patterns, to achieve the heterogeneous data distributed platform by RapidIO and RS232.Although there are some distributed data dissemination system and tools under windows platform, but very few research on embedded platforms in domestic and foreign. In this paper, make a research about the communication among the distributed system members on embedded platform. Having an analysis on the experiment data and evaluating the feasibility of DDS used in the future distributed information system.
