Small And Medium-sized Library It Management And Service Based On Cloud Computing Research

Rapid development of information technology (IT) promotes the construction of library. In recent years, cloud computing technology has a profound effect on library especially small and medium-sized ones. Level of management and service is improved. Nowadays, technology blooms in an inconceivable speed, and sometimes it could not be applied properly and promptly. Libraries can choose a technology to simplify and optimize the operation process, and also provide a more efficient convenient and personalized service to readers. Technology can realize the ultimate purpose of the library which is to develop the level of management and service.On the basis of study on literature, this paper has overall introduced of the cloud computing technology. This paper also gains a general definition, history and present situation, architecture, classification and the advantages and disadvantages. Based on the large number of empirical analysis and investigation, this paper puts forward the features of small and medium-sized library, and the problems in the process of modern IT construction. Combined with the advantages of cloud computing technology and the existing problems in the small and medium-sized libraries, this paper introduces feasibility the medium and small library using cloud computing technology. Then, this paper analyzes some items which should be paid attention.Affirmed the advantages of cloud computing in small and medium-sized library applications, this paper designs an IT clouds platform of management and service, then describes in detail the function of each layer. Then, the writer designs an IT architecture for the medium and small library based on cloud computing. And in this IT system framework range, the writer discusses the data resources management. Separately from the storage and management of data and metadata, the author designs the IT service process and the operation mechanism of small and medium-sized library based on cloud computing technology. Finally, this paper introduces some excellent application cases, and points out the significance of the guidance.The research also has inadequacies in discussing application of cloud computing technology in small and medium-sized library. The main purpose of this paper is to provide some references and Suggestions to the management and service of small and medium-sized library in our country.
