Studying On The Model Of Library Cloud Service Under Cloud Computing Environment

Cloud computing has been widespread concerned in the field of Library andInformation Science since the concept was proposed.The new requirements to libraryservices have been put forward with the new environment. In the application of cloudcomputing, the development of library services has aroused people’s attention, and evensome libraries attempt to introduce cloud computing to improve their own services. Thispaper aims to sort out about cloud computing research literature at home and abroad toidentify the library cloud computing study and to find the existing problems. On this basis,the Library cloud service model has been constructed, including the three aspects: the cloudlayer, the library layer and the user layer. Besides, the iceberg theory has been used todeduct a path to realize the model. Finally, this paper uses CALIS’s cloud service model asa case to analyzes the problems and then compared it with the model we have constructed toput forward countermeasures and suggestions of the Library cloud service implementation.The full text is divided into six chapters, the methods used in this study are literature review,comparative study, statistic analysis and case study..In this paper, the main conclusions are as follows(1) On the basis of analysis of library services, the factors that limit the development oflibrary services have been proposed,such as the plight of personalized services, the lack ofafter-sales service of library management information system, redundant construction of thelibrary resources and a problem.of co-construction and sharing.(2) This article focuses on building a library cloud services model, and discuss how toactualize it. The model includes three levels: cloud layer, the library layer and user layer. Asan addition, the application of iceberg principle in the strategic management is also used toactualize library cloud services.(3) Finally, the strategies are proposed to achieve Library cloud service. On the basis ofthe analysis of the case of CALIS, the implementation strategy of the Library cloud servicewere proposed: change minds to meet the age of cloud in the library; the development ofapplication of the standard to the maintenance of Author privacy; coordination of vendorservices to improve library service capabilities; Innovation of library services; VocationalEducation and Training towards cloud librarian.Library cloud services model is based on the needs of users, based on interaction between users and the Library, it was supported by the technology and architecture of cloudcomputing service. its aim is to integrate a wide range of services, including the experienceof service, network of community services, collaborative services and knowledge services.Today’s rapid development of Cloud computing reflects its powerful dynamics, which willenhance the innovation of library services.With the rapid development of cloud computingitself, and libraries are more and more paying attention to technology in the digital age, Itwill be widespread used in library, and at the meantime will make library services moreactive and more innovative.
