Analysis On The Cloud Computing Needs Of Electronic Libraries And Development Of The Corresponding Cloud Services Platform

Cloud computing the concept of the21st century Internet field is one of the importantprogress, although at present the concept of cloud computing to in the theory and theunderstanding of the Internet company had not united, each big Internet companies also havelaunched their own on the basis of understanding based on cloud computing services,although these cloud computing service philosophy is different, but there was no doubt is thefuture development direction of the Internet, library for speaking, each major technology inthe field of IT appears, will promote the service of their own calendar mode and the way toupgrade, therefore, cloud computing library also give the appearance of the enough attention,especially with the OCLC launched based on cloud computing library service platform,marks the library service mode and the era of cloud computing.This paper mainly through the existing OCLC cloud computing services platform for theanalysis of the actual conditions of the library of our country we, construct a face ofelectronic library in our country the cloud computing services platform, this paper mainlydivided into four parts of the electronic library cloud services platform to carry on theanalysis, the first is on cloud computing concept and computing clouds in the electroniclibrary application at home and abroad in the situation analysis, through to the of thetraditional library, and upgrade the capacity to create a detailed analysis of the way, andfound that the traditional library in daily management and operation of the problems, and theproblems in the traditional service the workbench is hard to be solved, if library serviceplatform of the cloud computing transformation, a lot of problems can be solved and on theanalysis of the cloud computing and the library service platform of the relationship betweendemand, specific to OCLC cloud computing services platform, and analyses the calculationof OCLC cloud service platform in China discussed the applicability, and draw theconclusion that our domestic library service platform of cloud computing some revelation,finally in through the above on the basis of analysis, combined with the actual conditions ofour country’s university library, construct a new library cloud computing services platform,and the platform for the construction of the related functions are described, and the hope for our university libraries in building a cloud computing services platform provides somereferences.
