Computer knitting machine is a kind of weft knitting machinery that is mechanotronicsand with a higher automation level. It is suitable for cotton, wool, cashmere, yarn and so on.In recent years, with the rapid development of textile industry in China, the traditionalknitting machine has not satisfied the process requirements. So the computer knittingmachines has a big market and a broad application prospect.This thesis studys on the structure and principle of the computer knitting machine system,analyses the general structure of the horizontal machine and control unit. This system baseson the embedded technology of master-slave control structure, and develops the adaptivefuzzy feedforward PID algorithm to ensure the accuracy control of the head displacement.Computer knitting machine control system can timely gives each control instructions toweave accords to the corresponding input signal.In the systematic hardware design, the system includes head displacement detectioncircuit, microprocessor, circuit of man-machine interface, and drive control circuit. Accordingto the mechanical structure and characteristics of computer knitting machine.The circuitsystem is master-slave ladder. The master control system uses Samsung S3C44B0X chips asthe top processor, and the subordinate processor asopt STC89C52single chip microcomputer,to realize the function module design of hardware circuit.In the software design, this thesisexpounds the scheme of the software control system. The top control system is based onuC/OS-Ⅱ kernel; the subordinate control system adopts on the monolithic group, theycommunicate each other through8bits of data bus parallel. SCM executive the tasks in linewith the instructions and datas of the top control.The paper expounds the links between hardware circuits, software programming, and thealgorithm on the computer knitting machine control system. According to the test result fromthe simulate, the control system bases on the adaptive fuzzy feedforward algorithm of controlsystem with lower cost, better reliability and higher precision, has higher practical value.
