With rapid development of social and economic forward, the living standard of people is continuously improved, and people’s pursuit of knitwear already from the pure warm to fashion、 comfortable、personalized、diversified. Former knitting industry technical equipment and technical level is very backward, and it is out of date, research and development intelligent、automatic electronic machinery and equipment has become a trend. Computer flat knitting machine is one of the most important machine in knitting industry, with higher technological content、much more difficult in research and higher intelligent degree. In view of China’s industrial control intelligent level is low, labor cost is more and more high, the computer knitting machine control system of market demand is very huge. Therefore, the development of novel control system of computerized flat knitting machine is this topic research content.Firstly, this paper introduces the control system of computerized flat knitting machine of domestic and international research status and development trend of. Then, the computer flat knitting machine mechanical structure and working principle of the key technology are described. After that, analyzed the existing domestic mature control scheme, combining with embedded technology, propose one kind of computerized flat knitting machine control system based on the architecture of ARM and FPGA. At the same time, description of the whole control system of computerized flat knitting machine frame. The system is divided into unit four parts, such as the computer flat knitting machine for a data analysis unit, CPLD field operation unit, machine head oeration unit and the man-machine control operation unit.
