With the development of automation, high speed and level of intelligent, the performance of flat knitting machine improves step by step. However, current control system of flat knitting machine ignores the openness of the system, which leads to lower integrity, poorer network function and even hard sharing of large information. Base on the control problem and deeply studying of flat knitting machine, at same time, introducing the concept of distributed control technology, the technology of distributed control is further researched in this paper. What's more, wireless network knitting distributed control, a solution scheme is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the history and trend development of flat knitting machine is introduced.The demand of flat knitting machine distributed control is analyzed in order to make a clear development goal. According to the requirement of distributing knitting computerized control and knitting weaving process, it will be divided into four layers system structure: supervisory control level, man-machine communication layer, real time Control layer and die head Control layer. The system structure, communication method and corresponding control method of supervisory control level with man-machine communication layer are emphasis analyzed in this paper.The whole system includes the following three aspects:The design of monitoring and control system needs MCR Main Control computer: running stability, high-speed processing and strength of man-machine capacity, which has an advanced function to complete flat knitting machine operation data storage, processing, dynamic monitoring, status display, printing, and other functions. This will achieve real-time monitoring to the system. And the horizontal machine production management is optimized at same time.The research of communication network: On the introduction of WiFi communication protocol basis, this paper describes Socket programming and the communication protocol of system design.HMI design: In hardware, S3C2440A microprocessor is the core of HMI. It is peripherals contains SDRAM, Flash, LCD, touch screen, SD card, USB and other modules. In software, not only using Windows CE embedded operating system, but also propose the Socket programming protocol for the flat knitting machine. At the same time, discussed in detail the condition monitoring and pattern transfer module of software design, then conduct the relevant tests.Distributed control has solved the difficult problem of information sharing in flat knitting machine. Distributed control has some advanced and representation. And it has broad application prospects.
