Nowadays, the information that the Internet can search out is increasingceaselessly with unbelievable speed. Seeing from the network informationdevelopment point, it is gratifying achievements. But excessive information isover the line which we can handle. The information problem is a hard nut to crackfor almost everyone——Accurate searching information and eliminating theinvalid information. The study attempts to do some work based on XML/RDF. By integrating herbalplant resources, establishing the ordered Internet information referencingDublin Core MetadataProviding information or data in a structured data, metadata is used todescribe the characteristic or attribute of the data itself. Using the thoughtof the metadata and XML/RDF compiling norm to integrate information, makesthe information order, clarity, and lets the computer could understand the data. This paper is divided into two major parts. First of all, the first phasewill try to build the herbal plant site. With the help of the semantic ontology,we build an ontology model. And there is a different point. With the modelcomparison, finding out all resources links. Establish a reasonable resourceacquisition structure.Later, we review the plant resources for semantic description, forming anew XML/RDF document. Wherever in the world, the computer will be able tounderstand the content of the resource, providing effective feedback informationThis paper is divided into six chapters to elaborate the main content. Thefirst chapter discusses the background and significance. The second chapterintroduces the technical standard related to. Not only from a conceptual point,It mainly describes, during the process of construction, how to use XML/RDF to make the semantic description. The third chapter mainly elaborates the processhow to form the final ontology model. The fourth chapter mainly tells how tosettle the system. The fifth chapter, from the Dublin Core metadata standard, details how to use the metadata thought to integrate semantic information, andpresents the results of semantics description information. And test it. The sixthchapter is in order to sum up. I point out the prospects of the Internet whenall the web page would be written by the method using in this paper...
