Wood resource is an integral part of the national economy. Wood dryingtechnology not only reflected the various features of the wood, and wood use,reprocessing, storage and transport are of great significance. At present, most of ourwood drying control for manual and semi manual operation, usingcomputer-controlled wood drying equipment accounted for only very few parts ofthe market. In the production of wood drying plants, distribution of a variety ofdevices in workshop, in which many devices rely entirely on manual control, manualcontrol of regulation of temperature and humidity data-dependent workers, lowproductivity and production technology. With the rapid development of electronictechnology, timber drying industry is also necessary to introduce advancedequipment and information technology to transform traditional and electronicequipment, using advanced automatic control mode to replace the original manual.CAN (Controller Area Network) bus technology is part of the essential part.CAN bus control unit in the1980of the20th century many people to solve thesame areas, the development of test instruments and real time data exchange betweena serial communications bus. CAN bus network communications, networkinterconnection and introducing the concept of areas of industrial control,Automation control of underlying network interconnect devices by the hostcontroller, network control for the production process? CAN-bus communicationprotocol is simple, easy to implement, has the characteristics of high real-timeperformance, high stability, very suitable for application in harsh environmentcomplex and production conditions of industrial production sites.Due to the drying of timber industry in China started relatively late, automationof wood drying industry is in its infancy. With embedded technology and the rise ofCAN bus technology and widely applied, this century based on the needs of timberdrying industry, research and development to complete multiple control tasks basedon CAN bus technology and data communication functions of industrial controlsystems, to promote the development of wood processing industry in China.This article is based on the CAN bus technology, wood drying control systemhardware and software design, and laid the Foundation for future research work.Overall, the article mainly has following several aspects:Overall designThis article on wood drying industry development present situation of the research,analysis of CAN bus to meet demand for wood drying technology of industrial control network. Analysis of the basic structure of the CAN network, network andtransport protocol, elaborated on CAN bus data transfer mode. Raised design ofwood drying system, constructing a system of basic level and function;Hardware designCAN communication on the basis of analysis of a control object, make systemdesign requirements, selected host controller chip, and collaborative designperipheral circuit controller master unit;Software designIn the CAN network, host controllers are mainly used for control functions. From aprogramming perspective includes acquisition of sensor signals and monitor chargedwith the instantaneous values, display output module, power module enclosure;Debugging and summaryDebugging for the host controller, including host controller node initializes andmessages received and sent. After some debugging and experiments, the systemworks fine, stable operation, basically meet the design criteria.Wood drying system design based on CAN bus in this article, make the system stableoperation, analysis of the application of CAN bus in wood drying equipment, asCAN bus technology and its application in industry control field to provide thetheoretical and practical basis of reliable.
