Alone with the progress of society, the needs of wood dr抜ng is increasing. So the study of wood drying technology and building up a dry device are stare us in the face. In order to Study wood drying technology and improve the quality and the using ratio of wood, the purpose of the paper hammer at building a autocontrol system of wood drying kiln. The first thing of wood drying process is the control ~ocess of wood drying kiln. Accordingly, we begin with the studying of control algorithim After going deep into the analysis of genetic algorithm that have the fully selection quality, we combine it with the control theory and apply it into the system identification of drying kiln object. Basing on that, we designed the Adaptive PID Control which use the GA to adjust the PID control factors. It is easy to find out through the simulation that identification result, which get from GA based identification model, is fit well with the result of the object output. So, the identification model can be used to a reference model of controlled object and apply to the control process and then make up of the adaptive controller. Besides, with the support of traditional PID control algorithm, employing the GA to accomplish 揼lobe?optimization of the parameters of PID controller and dynamic adjusting the control factors got well effect in control. Although the combination between genetic algorithm and control theory isn抰 so mature, the boinic evolution quality that only the genetic algorithm had certainly will blossom out in control field and furthering autocontrol. In the process of our research, the MATLAB was first adopt to study the simulation of system identification and control and got the identification model and control algorithm. Consiquently, Consequently, Delphi was used as a developing platform to design the operation interface of control program. GA being achieved by high program and practically building a software and hardware integrated drying kiln control system is convenient to study then wood drying problem.
