The industry of wood processing is an important part of the national economy, inrecent years, with the continuous improvement of standard of material living, theindustry of wood processing has achieved rapid development. Wood drying process is avery demanding control process, the subtle change of kiln temperature, humidity, watercontent and other parameters will make a significant impact on the quality of wooddrying, it can be said that wood drying is critical technology in the industry of woodprocessing, which has great significance for the preservation and use of wood.The purpose of this paper is to establish a distributed control system of wooddrying. The control process of wood drying such as heating control, spray control andflap-door control is based on a certain benchmark of wood drying and periodicacquisition of key parameters such as temperature, humidity and water content.Through the assisted control of computer, we can improve the degree of automation ofthe wood drying process, shorten the drying cycle, improve the drying quality andreduce drying energy consumption. Overall, the article mainly has following severalaspects:Introduce the background knowledgeThis part introduce the history of the development of our wood drying industry,technology status and development trend of domestic and international wood drying,then the paper clear target of the distributed control system of wood drying which thepaper design. This part also introduce the background knowledge of wood drying, suchas the definition of wood drying, the purpose of wood drying and the basic operationalprocesses of wood drying, which provides a theoretical basis for the design andimplementation of the distributed control system of wood drying.Overall designThis part determines the design of the whole control system. The whole controlsystem can be divided into the MNT PC monitor module, MCM main control boardmodule, the MSR measurement board and SWT switch board module. With thedistributed architecture, the entire control system has good scalability.The design and implementation of the main control board In the part of design and implementation of the main control board, throughcontrast, we finally choose the STM32board be the hardware platform and choose theuCOS be the software platform. The main control board is consists of RS-485communication module, Ethernet communication module, uCGUI graphical interfacemodule and FATFS module.Debugging and summaryFinally, to debug the main control board and make a integrated debug of thecontrol system. After several debugging, the running of system is basically stable andreliable, which achieve the predetermined design goals.Wood drying technology is an interdisciplinary which involves amulti-disciplinary knowledge. There are still many problems need to be resolved. Toestablish a distributed control system of wood drying can promote the development ofwood drying technology, which can not only create considerable economic benefits,but also bring huge social benefits for the community.This paper has designed and implemented the main control system of distributedcontrol system of wood drying successfully. The running of system is basically stableand reliable, which achieve the predetermined design goals. This paper can promote thedevelopment of wood drying technology.
