With the logistics enterprises’ business continued to expand the scope, depth of IT inbusiness management application, various information systems have been developed, usedon-line and applied to the production and management of logistics enterprises; an interfacemust be needed to be provided to dock those information systems, which is to build acommon, unified integration platform of logistics information system for docking the othersystems. With the structures of the platform, problems of data exchange can be resolvedbetween the various systems of the logistics enterprises in business, especially theenterprises’data exchange and business integration issues among the system of warehousing,transportation, finance, commerce and logistics.Currently, the most popular integration solution in enterprises’ application isservice-oriented architecture by using Web services’ technology; the core components of thearchitecture are the Enterprise Service Bus. This article explores to create a new integratedinformation system of logistics middleware software-Logistics Enterprise Service Bus(i.e.LESB) through researching the open-source of the ESB-Tuscany, by optimizing andimproving the ESB-Tuscany’s performance, functionality, enhancing its components’agreement decoupling capabilities, expanded integration with Spring, Hibernate, Strutsframework.In order to study and solve the key integration technologies of middleware softwareLESB for logistics information system, to integrate the logistics information system dataexchange in heterogeneous environments, to develop integration middleware LESB forlogistics information system and ultimately to promote its wide use, the author has beenresearching primary technology! The key points in this article are as follows.(1)Study the business processes of logistics enterprise, especially the processes of thewarehouse receipts’pledge of the business and purchasing operations, to find the functionalitypoints of business and data integration.(2)Research the overall technical architecture and logical hierarchy of integrationmiddleware software LESB for the logistics information system. (3)Formate new integrated software through studying Tuscany, a kind of open-sourceSOA middleware software, by analysis and transformation.(4)Find out data exchange technology based on the Internet and XML, cross-regional,heterogeneous environment of the logistics information systems.(5)Explore data’s message communication technologies. Research XML-based logisticsdata exchange standards, and first create a set of appropriate logistics industry XML Schemafrom the warehouse receipts’ pledge business.(6)Study data’s conversion and storage among XML messages and relationshipdatabases.(7)Try to use middleware software to Integrate systems in the experimental applicationin one of the logistics enterprises.The integration platform LESB based on SOA of the logistics information system canrespond to market demand fast, agilely integrate resources and business processes. Throughthe realization of logistics enterprises and share resources with customers, LESB can track thevarious sectors of the logistics, control and manage the entire process effectively, greatlyshorten the operation time of the warehouse receipts’ pledge, purchasing, customermanagement, inventory adjustment, the circulation of documents and so on. It optimizesbusiness processes, provides a basic protection for Logistics Park with better and fasterlogistics value-added services.It’s significance in theory and practice.
