| The packet network has become an inevitable trend in telecommunications transmission networks, but there are still a lot of problems faced to solve. Packet transmission network provide greater bandwidth and more flexible service, but also brought complexity in term of larger installation, operation, maintenance. Ethernet technology builds in a basis that can be trusted in the local area network. Its original design does not establish an operational network. when it applys to the Carrier Ethernet, Reliability will become a problem that must be resolved.The main work of this paper is to build an information model according to the MEF(MetroEthernetForum) specifications, provide service-oriented configuration for user to simplify configuration management. If we want to provide connection-oriented service security based on the Ethernet, we need Complex configuration for a large number of nodes in the network. The paper is mainly committed to resolve this issue through the actual development, The problem of protocol-based configuration’s complexity can be solved via service-oriented configuration. At the same time, it also can improve the operation and maintenance personnel experience to make the installation configuration more humane, more intuitive. For module which provides security and reliability to service, just build the resources mapping between module and the information model, the information model can manage module by the mean of service-oriented. The nature of two configurations is the same, but configuration of service-oriented can shield the relevant details of the agreement.We present to users in the form of web page as an alternative to traditional protocol-centric configuration. In a large extent, it will reduce the workload and difficulty of network management configuration. At the same time reduces the complexity of the design and deployment of network installation. These will make Carrier Ethernet to be applied in a large scale. |
