Data collection technology is an important branch of the modeen information science, and it constitutes the basis of modern detection technology along with sensors, signal processing and computer technology. The scope of its research consists of data collection, processing, control and storage, and it also widely used in other fields like the measurement, control and monitoring. So the data collection industry has a great significance in promoting the technological progress of the various sectors of the national economy, as well as to improve the social and economic benefits, the level of equipment is also largely a reflection of the level of modernization of a country’s development of productive forces and science. With the technological development and application of data acquisition systems, people have raised the ever-increasing demands to technical indicators of data acquisition, such as accuracy, resolution, sampling rate, input range, anti-jamming capability, and control methods.The authors participated in the project of design of multi-channel data logger. The data logger has four sensor channels isolated from each other, each measurement channel allows the input range of 0-24mA,0-50mV,0S-10V, a variety of thermal resistance and thermocouple sensor. Sensors collect temperature, current, voltage, etc and A/D converter converts analog into digital, then sent to the MCU for storage, processing and display. It is characterized by small size, timeliness, and can accurately measure temperature, voltage, current and other parameters.The clue of this paper is the design and simulation of data acquisition circuit in the multi-channel data logger. This paper describes the structure and properties of the multi-channel data acquisition system. It explains the various functional modules of the recorder and focuses on the front-end data acquisition done by the author and finally made a summary of the full text. Based on the analysis, I choose the chip A/D conversion chip, signal conditioning chip, multi-channel analog switch chip, multi-channel isolation device, and design the peripheral circuit of these chips. After simulation testing, it has completed the desired objectives.
