| This dissertation describes the studying of the whole construction of Water-saving Irrigation Expert Control System, the realization of hardware and software and low-cost soil-moisture sensor which is needed for water-saving irrigation. The distributed control system based on bus. According to real-time data of soil-moisture, water-level of sump, pressure of tube, etc. and irrigation knowledge in expert knowledge bases, it can make decisions such as when to irrigation, the water quantity to irrigation and the cost and benefit of the irrigation.In this dissertation, soil-moisture sensor is developed, it is of easy to use, low cost and accuracy.
