Research Of Heterogeneous Data Integration Based On XML And Web Service

Along with rapid development of the Internet, many information management systems of different functions have been established in enterprises. The distributed system has been widely used in many fields due to its high capability, dependability, flexibility and expansibility. The studying fields of how to integrate and aecess uniformly these distributed and heterogeneous data resources, to realize conversion, to exchange and share among them, and how to build an opening, expansible and heterogeneous compatibility information system is becoming an important research aspect in the today’s network application field.The research on the integration of heterogeneous data has developed since the 70’s in the last century, many heterogeneous integration solutions has been used. The using of Web Service in the integration which people pay more attention to is excellent compared to other methods for the technical merits of Web Service. Starting from the root causes of the heterogeneous data during informationization process, Combined with specific projects, this paper offers XML-based data exchange and system integration solutions based on Web Services, achieves the integration of heterogeneous databases. In the actual application, this middleware has effectively accomplished the job of the heterogeneous relations databases’integration.In this thesis, I primarily studied as followed:In the previous, study heterogeneous data integration principles, methods on the basis of data integration projects and from the actual needs; we identify combining Web Service and middleware technology data integration methods; We achieved data model and its database storage of XML by realizing self-describing, semi-structured, independent of platforms and applications and etc. of XML, also marked and defined the structure and non-structure data information in system by using XML, proposed the better solution to mutually operate the heterogeneous systems by using XML as the data format for interchanging and transmiting the data resources; On the basis of studying and disc ussingabout the key technology and standard rule to XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI, we proposed the distributed architecture model based on XML and WebServices which achieved mobility and assemblability of system functions, XML data stream in transfer process between the layers and dynamics of interface definite; After practiced, we applied it to the data integration of the logistics enterprise project.
