Cctv Special Correspondent Team Research Under The New Media Environment

In the new media environment, the focus of TV news reports has shifted from providingtimely information to a comprehensive interpretation of information. On July 27th, YangYu, aCCTV special commentator and director of Social News of China Economic Herald,addressed his comments on some hot issues of the news of the day in the program of“ZhaoWen Tian Xia”. Subsequently, China’s military expert Song Xiaojun, Professor of NationalDefense University Zhang Zhaozhong, financial expert Wu Xiaobo, Professor of InternationalStudy Institute of Tsinghua University Sun Zhe, expert of Asia-Pacific Institute of ChineseAcademy of Social Sciences Ye Hailin, Professor of Strategic Teaching and ResearchDepartment of National Defense University Meng Xiangqing, and Researcher of InternationalCommunications Research Center of Tsinghua University Zhou Qing’an gradually participateas the programs like“Common Concern”,“Oriental Horizon”,“Global Vision”and“Today’sFocus”. Comments of the special commentators fully penetrate into and interweave with thenews programs, making the comments an important support and skeleton of these programs.Since the CCTV special commentators appear, these programs have witnessed a great manylight spots and have been well received. Therefore, it is worthy of concern and research as tothe issues like the reason of the formation of CCTV special commentators, characters of thosecommentators and the influences they would bring about on the cause of China ’s newsmedia.According to the above ideas, this article will analyses and discusses this issue fromfour parts. The first part is the introduction, which describes the research background andsignificance of the topic of CCTV special commentators in the new media environment,combs the existing domestic research results and analyses its deficiencies, and then proposesthe theoretical framework and research methods of this article. Because what the article talkabout is the special commentators of CCTV in the new media environment, I will give a briefintroduction to the characteristics of new media and new media environment in the secondpart. I will also analyse the generation, the role, and the type of the TV news commentator,and give a superficial interpretation of the origin of the CCTV special Commentator. The third part is the focus of the thesis. In this chapter, I’ll start from the curriculum vitae of theCCTV special Commentators, the contents of the commentators’topics, the perspective, andthe comments freedom of CCTV special Commentators, to give my comprehensive study onCCTV special commentator based on theories of Communication and News Commentary.The fourth part describes my personal view of CCTV special setting up commentator system,which analyses the shortage of CCTV special Commentators, the significance of the CCTVspecial Commentators, and the impact that has on China’s news media.
