Sports rebroadcast is a special form of TV program. The studies found that TV sports commentary is the core cultural value area of sports rebroadcast. It directly affects the audiences’ perception of sports events, and television sports commentators play an irreplaceable role in the communication process.This thesis first describes the whole system of TV sports commentary. TV sports interpretation is evolved from the broadcasting sports events, while the latter has been developing for nearly a century. TV sports broadcast in China originating in June of1958, is one of the earliest program form of TV programs, and nurtured the TV sports commentary.This thesis then conducts research on TV sports commentary propensity Propensity of television sports commentator at present stage becomes a common problem. Three factors, i.e. gender, regional and ethnic problems exert subtle influences oncommentators discourse expression. Through the research on the phenomenon of propensity interpretation, this paper expounds the necessity of fair position principle construction for TV sports commentary, and discusses the principle of fair position and the limits of moderate inclination.The thesis finally focuses on the problem of development of the sports commentary TV. Sports commentators should possess weather-wise and narrative ability, professional knowledge, strain capacity, teamwork competence, healthy body and transmission qualities such as moral, professional quality. Sports commentators need to promote thesequalities, to in order to promote the spread of television sports concept andconstruct the principle of fair explanation model. Then the sports commentary will followthe discipline of journalism and communication, moving forward along the appropriate road along with the demand of the audience.
