Self-help Service Information System

At present, most people tend to choose Self-help service by public transport. ButSelf-help service operates very cumbersomely. Tourists have to face food, housing,transport and other problems. And there is another problem that tourists cannot find theirneeded information quickly on traveling facilities around in a strange place.To solve tourists’ real difficulties, based on detailed analysis of demands of Self-helpservice, this paper developed Self-help service information system adopting WEB andWAP two kinds of websites. Besides having basic function of tourism informationservice system, according to the demand of self-help groups, this system mainlydeveloped four function modules－simulation radar path finding, self-help guide, bus tripto transfer and tourist facilities inquiry around. In the technical route choice, it usedXHTML language writing web page code, SQL as database, JSP realizing the dynamicfunction and JAVA writing client program. About the system function design, it dividedthe function modules, painted data flow chart and designed database structure under theconcept of software engineering.In system realization part, according to the situation of Chengde city bus lines, thispaper simplified the bus topology and achieved the suitable algorithm for the transfer ofbus. To realize tourist facilities inquires around, first all tourist facilities position aremarked with the longitude and latitude, and then through the range calculation anddatabase queries to complete its function. To simplify self-help tourists inquire, thissystem composited many functional modules together and realized the guide function ofmaking tour schedule for the whole self-help. In development process of the simulationradar path finding systems, it first studied in terms of the mobile phone, and then realizedthe function of inquiring and directing the way by using the client program.
