China Telecom, as the latest one of the mobile communications network operators, must make great efforts to catch up with other competitors in network planning and optimization. Standing in the competitive market, YANGQUAN telecom develop the goals for 2009 under the existed network circumstances.Increasing the rate network coverage and improving the quality of network coverage for the development of market and the increment of phone call. Selected Yangquan Telecom CDMA wireless network design and engineering practice and optimizing as the research contents of paper has practical significance.Firstly the paper aimed at mobile communication development especially the technical features of the CDMA network. Secondly Considering of the YANGQUAN’s CDMA network coverage, user distribution and the development of market, one should select feed system, type of base station, station site, transmission way reasonably. Make full use of the new sites to improve the quality of YANGQUAN CDMA network coverage. Attention should be paid to wireless subnet topology, frequency, code resources, border issues and other aspects to improve the quality of YANGQUAN CDMA network.At the same time imply introduced for the current domestic mainstream power supply system and feed system.The last two chapters of this thesis analyze the various problems in the implementation process of this project comprehensively. One developing solutions to avoid similar problems in the following constructions, one should make detailed road test on the CDMA network by simulating users behavior. Compared the preconstruction and the post construction’s network coverage, one make assess to access performance, call sustained performance and switching performance. Finally one achieving the desired effect and summary of unresolved problems for subsequent network provide materials.Through the issue of the new project, one effectively improved both the quality of network coverage and the performance of network operation and enhanced the market competitiveness of the telecommunications CDMA network. Though the following optimization, one can explore the potential problems of network. Though the use of new equipment and the unconventional means of covering, one can improve the user’s perception of CDMA network.
