Design And Implementation Of Data Reporting And Statistical Analysis System For Electric Power Telecommunication Networks

Along with the expansion of the scale of the electric power telecommunication networks and the increase of the types and quantities of the communication equipments, it is necessary for the manager of the electric power company to master basic information of the electric power telecommunication networks such as the scale of the networks, the level of the equipments, the status of operation and the level of management, which provides data basis to make scientific plans of the operation and construction of the network. So it is necessary to report and make statistical analysis of the data in the electric power telecommunication networks.However, the data reporting and statistical analysis of the electric power telecommunication networks relies on several traditional methods such as mail delivery, phone and fax and Email and so on, which result in several problems such as long period of the data reporting, low efficiency, the lack of validation mechanism of data accuracy, non-standard specification of data reporting and so on, all of which may lead to errors in the progress of the reporting and statistical analysis of data, then inappropriate decision. So it is significant to build a data reporting and statistical analysis system of electric power telecommunication networks with function of correction of the wrong data.This paper introduces the current status of data reporting and statistical analysis and its application in the field of the electric power telecommunication, then points out the disadvantages of the traditional methods of data reporting and analyses the necessity of building the data reporting and statistical analysis system for electric power telecommunication networks. Combining with the status of data reporting and statistical analysis in the electric power telecommunication networks, this paper analyses the requirement of the system from five respects such as the goal, the design principles, the process, the requirement of function and performance requirement and so on. And then, the paper introduces the structure, the function module of the system and the design and implement of database in details. Finally, the system is implemented and applied in the electric power telecommunication networks. The efficiency and usability has been verified by experiments.
