In this paper, Rough Set theory is introduced into the security risk evaluation of the electric power communication networks. One hand, because there is no decision attributes in the evaluation information table, a security risk evaluation model of the electric power communication networks based on rough set is proposed. In this model, the number of indicators can reduced by using attributes'reduction and the indicators'weights can be assigned by using attributes'significance. The other hand, the risk evaluation method based on compatibility rough - fuzzy set is established according to the fuzziness of the decision attributes. After risk evaluating of the electric transmission network, objective and effective risk evaluation rules are obtained. The problem of electric power information security is analyzed. An intrusion detection model based on Rough Set is established. Then we focus on the constructing of classifier based on rough set. The results show that this model has high detection rate and low false detection rate.
