Automatic control field includes a large number of tedious calculation and simulation curve drawing task, very difficult to draw the system time response curve by manual. Also is more difficult to draw the root locus, Potter, Nyquist for more complex system. Therefore, it’s necessary to design a set of control system teaching software, according to the software students can master the system basic knowledge visually and deeply, reason from the simulation results accurately and easily, effectively supplement and improve traditional teaching.This study describes to design and develop teaching simulation software for linear control system by MATLAB, to achieve time-domain analysis, frequency response analysis, root locus analysis, and PID control settings and other functions combined with LTI Viewer and SISO system design tools, and the software can change all aspects of the system parameters in real time, have a very strong interaction and make the whole process intuitive and vivid, easy to understand.
