Bank Deposit Account System Optimization Research

To meet the requirement of different types of bank customers, the business of bank is more and more complex after China joined WTO and the opening of the financial market. Time Deposit is the most important deposit product in the bank, however, traditional bank deposit system can’t meet bank customers and users requirements anymore because the design is focus on the existing time deposit feature, and it’s necessary to do some enhancement on current system.China four local banks machine are all using IBM Mainframe, mainframe has its specific development environment and language, the three parts on the enhancement includes online transaction architecture for time deposit, data structure and batch job which will use the advanced mainframe technical knowledge. Firstly, it’s to analysis the requirement on local and foreign complex time deposit products. Secondary, it’s to do the detail design and program coding on those three parts. Design the online transaction architecture, all the transactions will be managed by transaction management center, transaction management center will pre-define the program flow based on the requirement of the transaction, the transaction control program will link the program flow, and the data storage and access among the programs will use temporary storage queue. The new architecture makes the system modularization and standardization. On the part of data structure, it will design the proper parameter tables and DB2 tables to meet the requirement on the enhancement. On the part of batch job, it will explain how to design proper batch program flow by the sample on interest reserve program’s job re-run, it’s to meet the batch job re-run requirement. Last, it’s to do the testing and verification, the enhanced system is better on the functionality and system architecture, and it has the advantage on the maintenance and extensions to meet the future business requirements.
