Universal network is a novel network architecture, in which all of the services and resources are described by the Service Identifiers (SID), and people could register and find the resources through the service identifier resolution system. As a key technology for the seamless communication among things, Internet of things (IoTs) will generate a large amount of resources in the future. However, how to access and manage the resources of IoTs has become an urgent question. In this thesis, we study the features of the two networks and propose a system to realize the access and management of resources under universal network architecture. In the system, each resource of IoTs is abstracted into a SID registered on the Service-Identifier resolution system. By this way, any people could find and access the resource through the universal architecture directly and conveniently. Firstly, we study the state-of-art of universal networks and internet of things. Secondly, we make a research on the relative technologies, especially on the name resolution system of universal networks and IPv6wireless sensor networks, one of the most important technologies in IoTs.Following, we design and implement a resource access and management system in internet of things under universal network. We divide the system into four modules:the internet of things module, resource-accessed module, service identifier resolution module, and service management module. Besides, we also design a reliable transmission module and an access control module to meet the demand of system security and reliability. In the specific design of each module, we mainly focus to how to split the whole system reasonably, and give out some key steps and important code.To validate the function of this system, we establish a test environment on the prototype testbed of the universal network. We verify the main functions, such as auto-registration, client service, and access control. The experimental results show that resources of IoTs could be registered automatically into universal networks and users can find and access the resource through a mobile terminal. Finally, we summarize the thesis, and present the work in the future.
