At present, the Internet of things has been widely used in many fields, such assmart home, intelligent traffic control, intelligent fire fighting, environmentmonitoring, logistic express, food traceability, industry monitoring, hotelmanagement and health care. In the wake of the Internet of things age, more andmore people hope to get the Internet of things data information conveniently andefficiently through network, and to observe and deal with data momentarily, so as tomake corresponding decision.For there are various kinds of sensors in content networking applications, theproblems of collecting processing and analysis large amount of information withuncertainty data type and different formats are should be solved. In this paper, anuniversal Internet of things data collection and analysis platform is designed andrealized. And an universal Internet of things data model is also proposed, which canmake all kinds of data collected by Internet of things sensing devices can bepresented with this model, thus data can be inserted uniformly.The platform provides uniform Web Services interface, which make theInternet of things sensing devices acquisition end can communicate with platformserver-side through several server, such as REST, XMLRPC, JSON, SOAP and AMF.Consequently, Internet of things sensing devices acquisition end can be looslycoupled with platform server-side, which make it flexible to construct the platform,also make it convenient and fast for application and development.The platform has integration of ECA rules module, it can automaticallyanalysize the real time data of Internet of things sensing devices uploaded toplatform server-side, according to the ECA rules presupposed by platform manageror users. As a result of this, the platform can find the problems of detection objects of Internet of things sensing devices timely and respond to them, thereby controllingthe state of detection objects of Internet of things sensing devices and informingplatform users of the occurrence of the event, in order for users to makecorresponding decision.In addition, the data visualization module of the platform provides users withgraphic operation interface, uses can set relevant parameters for visualization,submit the request to the platform, then the data visualization module can makestatistical analysis for data, make visual processing of result data and present basicformat (such as table, grid, HTML list, etc) or chart format (such as line chart, barchart, pie chart, etc) of history data to users, in order for users to observe thedynamic changes of data and forecast the changes of data in our environment, aswell as set the trigger events, trigger conditions and trigger actions for ECA rulesmodule according to this.This paper chooses Drupal as basic development platform, which is an opensource Web content management framework, realizes the basic functions of theuniveral Internet of things data collection and analysis platform, and applies thepaltform to health care and energy management field separately, then sequentiallytest and verify the availability of the platform.
