Due to people's rapid growth of the demand for information society,the rapid development of Internet technology has been promoted.The Internet of Things(Io T)which Internet-based and comprehensive use of various technologies has been widely promoted,and now its tentacles extended to all walks of life,such as smart city,intelligent home furnishing,intelligent medical and so on.In fact,the Internet of Things is an integration of various disciplines and technologies.It involves a lot of technology,not only have a variety of Internet technology,as well as various types of communication technology,sensor technology,network technology and so on.In this paper,we mainly did some research from the angle of engineering,and completed some practical engineering design.This paper completed the design of universal monitoring and controlling system in the Internet of things,it's basic design idea is to use the three-layer architecture to decoupled the whole system,each layer can accomplish a specific function,and also cooperate with each other through the interface,together realized the information collection and control of all kinds of hardware.This thesis expounds the three-layer architecture and some related technologies of Internet of things,and combining the features of the system,overall designed the universal monitoring and controlling system in the Internet of things in accordance with the three layer architecture of perception layer,network layer and application layer.It mainly realized some software on the network layer and application layer.We designed the network server module in view of network layer,which mainly task is transmission of some hardware data and user's control command.At the application layer,we completed the WEB application software module and database server module.The WEB application software mainly responsible for the interaction with user,and the database server module mainly responsible for data storage.Under the guidance of idea of layered design,modular design is used to implement the universal monitoring and controlling system in the Internet of things,including the design and implementation of network server module,WEB application software module and database server module.The network server module mainly involves the transmission of data,and implemented with the Java Socket programming.The WEB application software module mainly used for interaction with the user,this module based on the B/S model and using the MVC layered design ideas,implemented with Struts2,Spring and Hibernate open source framework technology.The database server module designed and implemented with My SQL database system.The whole system includes five basic functions: user management,hardware platform management,sensor node management,real-time monitoring management and historical data query.Finally,we detailed introduced the process of implementation of every function page,completed the actual deployment and operation test of the system and given a detailed testing results.The test results show that the modular design makes the monitoring nodes of the system easy to add and delete,and the maintainability and expansibility of the system are greatly improved.
