Full-hydraulic tunnel Drill is becoming one of the most widely productive Rotary DrillRig of the coal mine in our country because of its self power plant and flexibility. Meanwhile,it is the major equipment used in gas drainage. Therefore, testing all of the Drill performanceparameters accurately and efficiently to ensure the Drill work reliably has the vitalsignificance to the safety of the coal mine. With the rebuilt project background offull-hydraulic tunnel drilling rig testing platform for an Research Institute, the paper makes aresearch from the development of the testing platform and the evaluate of the measurementuncertainty, and the main work as follows:Firstly, according to the actual industrial demands, the research designs the wholescheme of the testing system, studies the loading devices, transducers and the testinginstruments including the connection method of the devices. Then it builds up the hardwaretesting platform, which measures the Drill by classify the torque into three different intervals,and the maximum torque which can be measured is15000N m.Secondly, the research develops the full-hydraulic coal mine Drill rig performancetesting software by advanced virtual instrument technology. Its main functions include: theload of Dynamometer automatic control, the cyclic detect of the hardware devices, the testingchannel calibration, the system hardware configuration, the real-time data collection, thegraph and character display, the dynamic curve plot, data saving, data recovery, data inquiry,data analysis, testing report printing, examination report generating and so on.Thirdly, based on the characteristics of data transferring for the platform, the analyticalmethod is adopted to evaluate the measurement uncertainty of the system torque testing chain,such as the signal source, transducer, torque device, the steps of data processing anddisplaying. Then the uncertainty for the two working conditions feeding and rotating of thewhole testing platform is evaluated, which shows that the transducer uncertainty has thegreatest effect on the whole testing platform uncertainty. Finally, aiming at the actual requires of generating the testing report automatically, fittingthe parameters through nonlinear method, saving and querying the history data, collecting thetesting data real-time, the research adopts three kinds of key technologies: ActiveX, Databaseand multithread to develop the testing software. Then the abilities of the testing softwareexchanging data with Microsoft Word, programming with the MATLAB have been designed.As a result many functions have been achieved such as generating the testing report by twokinds of format doc and html, choosing the suitable curve type to fit the parameters accordingto the practical demands and analysis the relations between two parameters by curve equation,saving the testing data concentrically and managing it efficiently, collecting data and doingthe other tasks synchronously which ensures the Real-time property of the software.
