Temperature measurement predominates an important position in agriculture, industry and scientific research. And it is very pivotal for temperature measurement that the instrument for temperature measurement has outstanding function and quality. So it is very necessary to exploit a high-powered instrument for temperature measurement. The disquisition introduces the virtual instrument's length the origin, characteristics and system structure. The virtual instrument and hardware-based instrument are contrasted, which stands out the superiority of virtual instrument, and narrates the characteristic and programming method of the most popular virtual instrument graph software LabVIEW now. The paper takes the thermistor for temperature measurement as the example to analyze temperature measurement and the principle of instrument, including the temperature measuring theory, physical structure and notices.The paper expatiates how to design the remote multi-channel instrument for temperature measurement system by LabVIEW, it could safeguard the computer and communication net by monitoring the station signal building. It uses thermistor for temperature sensor, and acquires temperature signal by American national instrument's data acquisition USB-9215 to monitor temperature change of signal building. The chief computer communicates with temperature measure set by LANs, so the users can monitor the temperature inside building real time and credibly, and prevent danger by chief computer's data analysis and alert function. The paper amply introduces the logical structure and design of software and hardware of the remote multi-channel instrument system for temperature measurement. LabVIEW primary control module, cure fitting module, data acquisition module, channels and scopes set module, data processing module, data analysis and display module, data storage and redisplay module, printing module are designed in this system, which realizes the data acquisition, processing, analysis and display. The experiments show that the virtual temperature measurement system has a wide scope and flexible temperature measuring mode, and the high accurately. It can not only analyze the data online but also process them offline.In the thesis, the technologies of TCP, explorer, RDA, DataSocket also are described. Four technologies described above are applied to remote control and measurement system, and these technologies are compared in real time, remote control, dependability and so on. The datasocket technology is more fit for the design remote system scheme, users could monitoring and control the temperature of the signal building's environmental temperature by LANs.
