The development of high-speed railway can not separate from theperformance of the brake control system. Without efficient, safe, fastbraking system, high-speed railway can not develop smoothly. Therefore,the key to the current development of the high-speed railway transport isto prepare new and high-performance train brake control system.In the traditional brake control system, all the performance parameters aretransmitted by the CAN and1553B bus. This wired network is subjectedto certain restrictions in applications. For example, engineering quantitieswill become large when wiring, relocation or debugging; the line is easyto damage; each node of the network can not be moved. It forms a severetechnical bottleneck. Combination of the Internet of Things, this paperbuilds a low-cost, low complexity, high reliability ZigBee wireless sensornetwork, which is applicable for brake control system.At the beginning, this paper analyzes the applicationenvironment——brake control system and core technology of thenetwork——ZigBee. Then, on this basis, it conducts network architectureon the brake control system and designs a multilayer star network, whichconcludes three layers. The bottom layer has eight terminal nodes, themiddle has a coordinator node, and the upper is the client computer.Among them, hardware design integrates the key chip CC2430of ZigBeetechnology with RF front-end chip CC2591to complete the design ofhigh-power node. Software design selects Z-Stack provided by TI, whichis easy to transplant and maintain, and has open source. On this platform,this paper develops on the application layer and writes software programof all the nodes. At the last, it writes a serial communication program anda database access program by Visual C++6.0at the PC client. Besides, itprovides a friendly interface to realize real-time data display and storageof information.This system completes organization of the ZigBee network, sending thetrain axle temperature, balanced air cylinder pressure and train runningspeed detected by sensors to the coordinator node, displaying and storingthe real-time information on the PC client. The result of networkperformance test shows that the network this paper designed getsexcellent reception, fast data transmission, high efficiency and appropriate communication distance. It meets the performancerequirements of the system.
