Research And Development Of WDM Driver For Data Acquisition System Based On ETX Module

Device driver plays an important role in the data acquisition system, an efficient driver is the guarantee for the data acquisition system working steadly.In the paper, the kernel composition of Windows 2000 is firstly demonstrated, followed by the detail research on developing technique of a WDM driver.The driver developing tools and the methods of designing a driver are also been discussed. Then, drivers for A/D module and CAN module are designed after analysing the hardware architecture, learning the flow of data acquisition and register configuration for AD1674 and SJA1000. Meanwhile, the prolem of how to access I/O port and physical memory directly is resolved, which is a necessary foundation for developing data acquisition sytem. MFC applications are presented at last, the drivers are tested and it is realized that applications control data acquition system.
