In recent years, with the advancement of industrialization, urbanization and population ageing, the incidence of chronic diseases is increasing, accompanying with the environmental problems and the shortage of medical resources. In a condition of medical resources shortages, to realize the timely diagnosis and real-time monitoring and prevention of chronic diseases has been a key problem in reducing the incidence of chronic diseases.Traditional method to this problem is to have medical examinations in hospital regularly. However, medical devices in general hospitals are wired and their operations are inconvenient. Besides, medical data cannot be managed properly, which can not only cause troubles for patients but also lay heavy burden on medical system.This paper studied applications of acquisition of remote physiological parameters based on wireless body are a network.With wireless communication method of Zigbee,it achieved the communication and data acquisition of physiological parameters wireless network in body area network. Besides, it also achieved acquisition of physiological parameters through TCP/IP.To begin with. according to the research background and significance, this paper proposed a scheme for acquisition of remote physiological parameters based on wireless body area network.After that, the paper designed the software of acquisition system of remote physiological parameters. According to the Z-Stack stack, the paper designed programs for the communication between networking of body area network and nodes. It also designed the software system of acquisition system of remote physiological parameters based on C/S.Finally, the performance of acquisition system of remote physiological parameters was tested. The nodes of acquisition module of physiological parameters were tested and analyzed. The system power consumption was also analyzed.Test results show that: the developed acquisition system of remote physiological parameters based on body area network operates properly and has achieved the design aim of research.
