In this paper, a high-performance real-time data acquisition and control system for wind tunnelbased virtual flight testing is designed. It can controll vehicle maneuver movement, and measure theaerodynamic and motion parameters simultaneously, so it provides advanced test platform for thestudy of high-mobility motion characteristics and mechanism for vehicle.The overall design is proposed based on technical indicators and performance as follows: Anindustrial control computer is introduced as the hardware platform, and PXI Boards based on PXI busis developed to control actuator action and collect photoelectric encoder signal, gyroscope signal,balance signal and actuator feedback signal. For meet real-time request, RTX+Windows systemarchitecture is chosen by comparing several schems of real-time systems. The effective integration ofthe RTX real-time system and Windows powerful graphical interface development features, reducesdevelopment effort and cost, improves system stability and reliabilityIn this paper, selection of the hardware, design and implementation process are described. Basedon system demand, the paper elaborate the driver development of PXI board based on RTX, designWindows and RTX inter-process interaction model of information processing, finish encoding anddecoding for gyroscope signal and steering signal. For the specific movement requirements of flightmodel, the pape designs two steering action modes to finish mode control of system and gives specificcontrol algorithm to complete instructions for four rudder deflection angles in test. According to thetrial test process control requirements, the development of testing process control software anddisplay software are finished.During system testing, display of the data is correct, reliable. The control algorithm meets theneed of the actuator. In the testing process, the high real-time and accurate result provide reliable datasource for the model analysis of wind tunnel based virtual flight testing. Data acquisition and controlsystem based on RTX achieves technical requirements, meets requirements of measurement andcontrol for wind tunnel based virtual flight testing. It makes a positive contribution for vehicleresearch and development.
