The Design Of Remote Concentrated Metering System On Heat Meter

In this dissertation, the Remote Concentrated Metering System is introduced, in which we use a double level network structure constituted by CAN-Bus and RS485-Bus to realize the remote metering and remote controlling of Heat Meter. The Remote Concentrated Metering System can provide a reliable communication platform in Intelligent Community for the resource management and monitor of heat or in industry production management.The design and realization of data communication are described as the core of the Remote Concentrated Metering System on Heat Meter in this dissertation. The system includes two parts:The basal part is Local Metering Network which is constituted by Data Concentrator and Heat Meter. The communication section designing is based on RS485-Bus. The other part is Remote Communication. The communication section designing is based on CAN-Bus.The dissertation consists of five chapters:Chapter 1 describes briefly the Remote Concentrated Metering System and then introduces the work and meaning of this dissertation. In chapter 2, several optional design solutions in native or aboard are discussed and one of them is adopted. In chapter 3, the design of Data Concentrator which is a pivotal part in the Metering Communication System is introduced minutely. Chapter 4 is the design of Local Metering Network based on RS485-Bus. The pivotal points are the design of communication agreement of Data Concentrator and Heat Meter, the realization of communication course, and the software realization. Chapter 5 is the design of Remote Communication Network based on CAN-Bus. The pivotal points are the realization of communication course between Managing computer and Data Concentrator, and the software realization. The design about remote metering software is also described.Some technologies about the Remote Concentrated Metering System are described minutely through theory and practice in this dissertation, and the keystone is the discussion based on actual application. The task is not the realization of this system, but also the extensive application of this technology project discussed in this dissertation in industry and in civilization. The Remote Concentrated Metering System on Heat Meter is only one application about these technologies, but when we make this course come true, the meaning is not limited to that.
