In the coal production unit which is in the management model of traditional geologicalsurvey information, data is usually rendering in the form of ledger and paper maps. Therefore,data processing and preservation, as well as the efficiency of information sharing arerestricted, which have not only affected the communication and coordination of work amongthe related departments of production unit, but directly affected the overall efficiency and coaloutput.In the1990s, with the application of computer-aided design, electronic mappingtechnology had made rapid development, moreover, the data processing and the efficiency ofelectronic mapping of mine geological survey department had also been greatly improved.However, something that follows was the increased maps in type and number,which hadmade traditional map-management difficult to meet the demand for the departments of coalproduction, planning and decision-making. Thus, it is imminent to work out a practical schemeto effectively manage numerous and complicated measurement data and electronic maps.This paper based on the idea of WebGis and Office Automation, in the support of aspecific mine production unit data, deeply explores the technology of Web graph publishingand information sharing to achieve in this mine production unit. The mapping system anddatabase management systems used by mine geological survey department in this paper is anew generation VRMine digital mine software which has conformitied two-dimension andthree-dimension, independently developed by Xi’an set Ling, Ltd. Because sDc graph’s formatarising from VRMine system is private and it can not be publishing directly in the Web, weneed a Web graph publishing system to support the sDc graph’s format. At present, there are avariety of ways to publish the Network Graphics, including the way of ActiveX controls, theJava applet, Flash, pure bitmap and SVG. ActiveX technology has such features as supportingfor the operation of three-dimensional, remaining good stability and keeping constantinteraction. Based on it, this paper uses the ActiveX control methods and the Internet networkcommunication technology to set up a platform for sharing information that covers the entiremine.First, this paper introduces common ways of web graph publishing at present.Then itanalyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these ways deeply, focusing on ActiveXtechnology and study the functional demand of the VRMine graphics components and completes the design and implementation of them based on COM technology. At last, inaccordance with the whole process of software development, including market research,demand analysis, outline design, detailed design, system functional architecture and majorfunctions for the realization and system testing, completes the design and implementation ofthe Network graph publishing system based on VRMine graphics components. This papermakes a summary on our now study and gives an outlook to the next study.
