As an important branch of computer application, the Management Information System (MIS) isgetting more and more wide application in the modern society. It is playing a key role in helpingmodern enterprises or organizations reducing the labor intensity, improving the production efficiencyand so on. The main purpose of the thesis is to build an excellent development platform, with which thedevelopment process of MIS system will be more convenient, and the developed system will be morerobust and practical.The development platform this thesis designed put forward a new method to develop MIS system.Through analyzing the needs of MIS system in detail, the thesis summed up plenty of commonproblems people may come up with during the process of developing and managing MIS system. Tosolve these problems, the thesis developed different function components and then sealed the code inthe bottom layer of platform to shield technological implementation details, and then form a set ofstandard and complete application solutions. When using the platform developing MIS system, thedevelopers are allowed to pay more attention on the analysis and implementations of their businesssystem. They can call applications sealed in the background to realize their business needs, which willreduce technical redundancy work during development process and improve code reusing.The thesis firstly analyzed structural characteristics of MIS system, briefly introducedcharacteristics of C/S and B/S frame, starting with platform characteristics and core technology, thethesis emphatically introduced enterprise application development standard—J2EE, which is based onmulti-layer software system structure and is widely used today. Also, the thesis briefly summarizedMVC programming model, model driven architecture thought and other related technological theories.Secondly, according to business requirements of MIS system, the thesis detailed descript how to designand realize a MIS system application development platform based on J2EE. The platform is analyzedand designed using model-based method, and adopted MDA thought to form its own methods. To finishplatform development, the method uses model definition as foundation, and also it integrated variousindividualized function module based on platform of common public model to satisfy individualizedneeds of different MIS system. At last, the thesis briefly introduced how to develop MIS system usingthe platform and also introduced the realization flows of the system. Then the thesis summarized andevaluated functions of the platform.
