High Level Architecture (HLA/RTI) is software specifications of the distributed interactivesimulation. Due to lack of real-time effective organization and scheduling to simulation resources,HLA-based simulation system is lack of flexibility and robustness. Mobile Agent technologycombine Agent technology with distributed computing technology, it can adapt to changing ofnetwork traffic, host load, and other entities interested to achieve dynamic load balancing, faulttolerance and enhanced data sharing capabilities of system. Therefore,using Mobile Agent technologyin HLA simulations has great means to eliminate limitations of HLA.First, study and analysis main content of HLA/RTI based distributed simulation and basic ideasand models of Mobile Agent carefully; On the basis of that, we proposed distributed simulationstructure based on HLA and Mobile Agent, this structure inherits RTI communication mode of HLAdistributed simulation, meanwhile, introduce the idea of Mobile Agent to simulation federates; Then,against to features of HLA simulation, put forward migration mechanism from the migration strategy,code migration state transition, and other aspects; Then, based on previous studies of simulationmanagement system, design and achieve simulation migration control framework which is based onHLA and Mobile Agent, simulation migration control framework achieve load balancing in twoways of static migration and dynamic migration.Finally, establish an air defense simulation example, develope application simulation federatemembers, and load migrate module and application module to making it a Mobile Agent federate;Against to characteristics of the simulation examples and simulation environment, change thesimulation rate monitoring process and node loading control process to improve the simulationcontrol results; Conduct simulation deduction test against to static migration, verify it’s superiority inaspects of optimal static allocation of resources; Conduct simulation deduction test to ensuresimulation run rate and CPU utilization of node, verify function of dynamic load balancing ofsimulation migration control framework.
