The constant expansion and innovation of New Media’s range of application makeits influence greatly promoted in both space and time and change the whole socialenvironment as well. By means of the theoretical research method the thesis mainlyintroduced the effect of New Media on the present leading activities and its componentparts. In addition, the principal problems found in the leading activities themselves andthe related strategies to be needed are further revealed under the background that NewMedia is widely applied. Through describing New Media’s positive and negative effectson the present leading activities in detail, the thesis aims to promote their coping capacity,give play to promotional effect of New Media on them as well as avoid its negative ones.In doing so, a government’s ability that manages and applies New Media will beimproved and the results of fostering strengths and circumventing weaknesses will berealized. Contrasted with the literature related to the current various studies on NewMedia, the thesis changes the situation in which the previous study only touches on someaspect of leading activities and describes not only the whole leading activities butinvestigates its component parts systematically and overall. Accordingly, the relationshipbetween New Media and leading activities is uncovered entirely.
