Since the1990s,with the global economical advancement speeding up, and the informationtechnology especially the network technology being widespread-applicated, MRP and MRP IItechnology which faced to the enterpriseinterior-resources and took production managementprimarily have gradually evolved as the ERP technology which faces to the social resources andcarries on the comprehensive management to the enterprise. ERP system fullyintegrates subsystem module functions of the information lfow, logistics, capital lfow so thatenterprises are able to truly manage and control logistics and financing. ERP system provides thecomprehensive solution for the enterprises. It is an important method for the enterprise to realizea supplying-chain management.Based on the knowledge and skills of the modern enterprise management, acomprehensive analysis and research on concrete practice of the process of enterpriseinformationization construction of X Company was described in details in the thesis. In additionto the overview of overall design of the informationization project and SAP system the projectadopts, the thesis mainly works on the following part.Firstly, the major ERP project implementation methodology and solution ofwell-known domestic and foreign ERP suppliers were analyzed. Advantages anddisadvantages between the traditional waterfall model and agile methods which recently hasbecome increasingly popular were compared carefully. Combining improved SAPASAP methodology and Scrum agile methods, the implementation methodology to deliverimplementation result in phases, which is more suitable for SMEs were discussed completely. Secondly, with researching on theory and methodology of major business process modeling,ARIS toolsets and extended event process chain (e-EPC) diagram was chosen as the method andtool to model, analyze and rebuild the business processes of X Company in communicationsequipment manufacturing industry. A complete and unified arrangenment and study is performedon nearly30business processes, which include sales and distribution module, procurementand material management module, and production planning module. And five critical processes,Sales Planning and Confirmation Process, Normal Sales Order Management Process, PurchaseOrder Management Process (From Import Vendor) and Subcontract Purchasing Process (Free ofCharge) and Production/Procurement Plan Management Process were in detailed researching.ARIS modeling, detailed step list, change and improvement, critical controlling points,input/output documents and other aspects of each process were introduced and elaborated.Thirdly, based on the modeling of the business processes, the design and implementation ofthe corresponding system and secondary development were described. The experience to applySAP Solution Manager, SAP Implementation Guide as well as clear and complete configurationdocumentation to implement processes in SAP was introduced, and the design and realization ofsecondary development was described. The integration between ERP and existing enterprisecontent managment system was also introduced. Implementing three integration scenarios (ECMserving as achiving system of ERP, ECM pushing data into ERP, image enabling) allows thecompany to achieve the maximum level of automation of processes and data exchanging/sharing.Finally, through system functional testing and on-line operation the correctness andeffectivenessof the Company X information system construction were verified. The informationization construction project of X Company introduced in the thesisprovides a useful reference and successful experience management level, and optimizes criticalbusiness processes. These adapt to the future development and market competitionfor other enterprises in the same industry.
