The Research And Application Of AM-RUP Requirement Modeling

Today, the software development is a difficult work for developers , lots of software spends much money or much time, even some software can't use at last. In order to settle these difficulties, Researchers have developed some software development processes. The Rational Unified Process(RUP) is the one of the most representative and widely used software development processes. Agile Modeling(AM) method is the most revolutionary modeling idea that is very different from the traditional modeling ideas ,but the Agile Modeling idea is not a complete methodology so it need to combine with a concrete process. It's possible of the combination of the Agile Modeling Idea and the Unified Process for the Rational Unified Process can be cut well. It is worth probing into the combination of the Agile Modeling Idea and the Unified Process for the software development.This dissertation first discusses the Rational Unified Process and the Unified Modeling Language(UML),then explodes an in-depth study to the representative problems that exist in the practice of developing software using RUP. This dissertation introduces the Agile Modeling idea against these problems , then studies and analyses the core practices of the AM , simultaneously compares the AM practice with the pure RUP practice .Based on these study , this dissertation describes how to modify the RUP according to the AM practices and principles, then concludes the features of Agile Rational Unified Process(AM-RUP). Based on these features, this dissertation brings forward the AM-RUP Requirement Modeling Process—"Getting general requirements, planning by requirement priorities, simple requirement modeling at the small increment and iterative mode", and studies and analyses some AM-RUP requirement modeling wares and introduces the Scenario and Goal requirement analysis technology. At last, this dissertation takes example for the requirement modeling in some modules of the social insurance system, and illuminates how to select appropriate requirement modeling wares to realize AM-RUP Requirement Modeling Process.
