Traditional forestry resources and management is comparatively extensive, and itis an inevitable trend to turn to fine management. Through3S technique and integrateapplication of all kinds of modern information technology, this article realizes the finemanagement information system of forestry resources in Guangzhou, promotes thetransformation of Guangzhou forestry resources into fine management mode, andplays a demonstration and leading role for the development of model of China’sforestry resources management.This paper taking digital green platform construction of Guangzhou forestrybureau and bureau of parks and woods as an example, by applying3S technique andmodern information technology, realizes the forest resources management "in a singlechart", which provides a guarantee for fine management. Meanwhile, this paperexplores a set of data updating model suitable for the present situation of the forestry,which laid a data base for fine management. GPS and GIS technology are also appliedso as to realize intelligent terminal field investigation, inspection and managementtrail based on tablet computer and smart phones. The use of GPS and GIS also realizemutual calls and real-time updates of forestry resources data. Through the informationtechnology and the innovation of the forestry application, this paper finally achievesthe fine management of forest resources and promotes the transformation of forestresources management mode.The actual application result shows that this system has the characteristics ofadaptive complex network environment, efficiency data processing, integration andcooperation between different platforms and complex involvement of business, etc.And the system applies RIA mode of Silverlight, reduces response time of the system,and enhance the user experience. The outcome of the study in this paper activelyexplores on the applications of forest resources management provides reference in themanagement of forestry resources for the fine management has certain degree ofdemonstration and leading role.
