With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, ZigBee wirelesscommunications, with its low power consumption, low cost and other advantages, achievea wide range of applications in lots of fields, such as smart home and intelligent buildings,intelligent transportation, industrial automation, environment and health monitoring.This article is based on uranium-based three-dimension resistivity measurementsystem of wireless networks in the area of application as the background, study and designone kind of wireless communication network which can realize three dimension resistivitymeasurement. Main research work is as follows:(1) describes the research background, that is a brief overview of the characteristics offour generations of high density resistivity method instrument in foreign countries, andevolution of domestic resistivity method instrument; elaborate on the significance of thesubject, that is, insufficient analysis of today’s resistivity method instrument, introducingthis system can solve some existing problems today.(2) introduce overview of several kinds of short-distance wireless communication,and compared with the ZigBee technology, elaborate the system choose to the feasibility ofusing ZigBee programme. Introduce three kinds of network Zigbee wireless networktopologies in detail, and ZigBee physical layer, MAC layer, network layer, applicationlayer structure and functions are described in detail.(3) the subject using CC2430and LPC2210, establishes hardware and softwareplatforms of the system, with μ C/OS II operating system makes it easy to back-end dataprocessing unit, as well as facilitates the subsequent algorithms for data processing of threedimension resistivity measurement. And provide the programming of the CC2430coordinator, terminal equipment, and LPC2210; a detailed analysis about the actions of ZigBee wireless network communications coordinator and terminal equipment, and setdifferent data transmission formats according to the different situations.The system has a good resistance and stability, to meet the performance evaluation ofhigh speed, high integration, low signal-to-noise ratio in the field of geophysicalinstruments, reduces much of the wiring in the process of field use, using the intelligentswitch reduces the red tape of the electrode switching.
