Wireless sensor network is a multi-disciplinary hot edge technology, and its wideapplication in areas such as agriculture,medical care,military affairs. However, its still ininfancy in industrial monitoring applications. Under the industrial wireless monitoringrequirements, in this paper, design an industrial wireless monitoring solution based onwireless sensor network. The research project completed the following works.Firstly, design a wireless acquisition system based on ZigBee technology, the systemconsists of the wireless temperature collection and wireless meter reading. Temperatureacquisition achieved by the temperature sensor of DS18B20. The wireless meter-readingfunction achieved through design of protocol line with DL/T645 Statute, and thentransmission data through ZigBee payload.Secondly, design of industrial wireless monitoring system based on IEEE 802.15.4,for monitor PLC, inverter and other industrial equipment. We devise the power monitoringmodule to bring about wireless power control function. Under the PLC free port mode,designed the PLC wireless control communication protocols, and achieve PLC wirelesscontrol functions.Finally, design a monitoring software based on VB Platform. The PC software can beachieved Power monitoring, frequency converter monitoring, PLC monitoring, energymeters monitoring and indoor temperature acquisition etc functions. We use the Accessdatabase to record the time of equipments working. This is a good way to grasp theequipment wear and tearThis system is based on the low-speed wireless network, to achieve the wirelessmonitoring and control of industrial equipment Through the experimentation andcommissioning, the system can run very well, which shows that the paper’s work ispracticality and feasibility. Part of the research results have been used in a large steel millwastewater treatment system. It is running well for a long-term, show the feasibility andrationality for the proposed method using in industry.
