In this paper, the author studies Mathematical English teaching in junior middleschool. The paper focuses on two aspects, i.e., external conditions and internalneeds.This paper consists of six chapters. In chapter1we study briefly the presentsituation of Mathematical English teaching, as well as its significance offered in juniorhigh schools. In chapter2we describe the basic knowledge about MathematicalEnglish teaching. In chapter3we study some characteristics of Mathematical English.In chapter4we emphasize on the practice of Mathematical English teaching in juniormiddle schools. This process consists of two parts. One is to write teaching materialssuitable for the students in junior middle schools by referring to foreign textbooksand online videos. Another is to teach the students of Grade8in the form of electivecourses. In chapter5we focus on some new enlightenment in teaching based oncomparison and analysis of overseas teaching material. In chapter6, we sum upsome experience in the practice of Mathematical English teaching in junior middleschools.Because at present, Mathematical English teaching in junior middle school isstill at groping stage, the author can neither refer to relevant literatures, nor drawlessons from the experience. Although she met a lot of difficulties and problems inthe practice and exploration, she always thinks that it is a worth studying. This studyis hope to attract the experts’ attention and other teachers’ participation.
